Fried Rabbit

Ingredients:

  • 1  DB Farms Rabbit cut into 6 pieces
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • Oil for frying (canola, peanut, etc.)

Directions:

  • Marinate Rabbit in buttermilk and salt for 24 hours
  • Season flour with salt, pepper, paprika and garlic powder in a gallon zip lock bag
  • Add Rabbit to the bag, shake and let sit for 30 minutes
  • Fry the rabbit at 350 degrees until the internal temperature reaches approximately 150 degrees (Approximately 10 minutes)
  • Remove when golden brown
  • (optional) Garnish with drizzled honey, paprika and chives
